Together in 2026!
Our work is sustained by the community — not corporations or government funding. We receive no federal or state support.
At the Social Impact Center, 100% of donations go directly to mutual aid projects and direct services - not to an administrator or overhead. When you give, you’re backing a small team tackling national issues at the local level through record clearance, systems navigation, and mental health support.
About Fundraiser
Help Us Raise $2,500 to Uplift Community.
In 2025, our team helped heal and empower impacted community members through free services, expungement events, and peer support. With your help, we’re working to raise $2,500 by January 31, 2026 so we can continue offering no-cost support to people navigating criminal records, public benefits, and ongoing crises in our communities.
With Proposition 36 pushing many of our folks into crisis mode, the demand for our work has grown while funding remains scarce. Your donation helps us stay responsive and grounded in community care when people need it most.
Where Your Support Goes
When you donate to this fundraiser, you are:
- Supporting a small, dedicated staff that provides direct aid to system-impacted and marginalized community members.
- Funding mutual aid and direct services like record clearance support, benefits navigation, and mental health programming.
- Helping us continue to offer free services so cost is never a barrier to access.
Every contribution, no matter the amount, helps sustain the people behind this work and the communities they serve.
Receive the gift of creativity and hope.
As a thank-you for supporting this fundraiser:
- Donations of $15 or more will receive a digital copy of our 2025 Joshua Tree Zine, created from artwork and reflections at our team retreat this year.
- Donations of $35 or more will also receive a printed copy, to be mailed in February 2026.
The zine is a snapshot of the creativity, care, and commitment that shape our day-to-day work.
