200+ LGBTQIA+ community members. Our grassroots
Pride event will offer live performances, art
installations, poetry, interactive art marking, drag
show performances, vogue balls, networking,
vending opportunities, local food tastings and
community building resources desperately needed
for our LGBTQIA+ community in the San Fernando
Valley.
Attendees include community advocates, families,
nonprofit leaders, thought leaders, students,
performers, artists, and more! We invite you to
support our efforts for our distinctive social justice
lens. San Fernando Valley Pride organized by and for
LGBTQIA+ people of color.

Somos Familia Valle is our local San Fernando Valley
community organization led by trans queer people of color
dedicated to support, empower, train, and mobilize trans
and queer people, immigrants, our families, and allies for
racial, gender, environmental, and economic justice. We
organize for intersectional LGBTQ+ justice and liberation
through transformative dialogue, advocacy, and civic
engagement. We promote LGBTQ-affirming homes, safer
schools, and healthier communities through our values: a
commitment to being our authentic selves, community
compassion and integration, family courage, bilingual
health education, civic engagement, intersectionality,
cultural humility, and social justice.
The Social Impact Center brings together government,
community and grass-root organizations as well as the
people who live in the community. Our mission is to create
a safe space for dialogue in marginalized communities
and empower underserved communities.
Our vision is to empower the next generation of leaders,
focusing on the most marginalized populations. We want to
develop local leaders through education, storytelling and
community building. Our goal is to build, strengthen and
empower our community. Making everyone feel seen,
heard, accepted, safe and brave.
